Is this only for runners?

The OS is built so that the more apps you turn on, the smarter every existing app gets about you. A user with only Running on their account gets a great running coach. A user with Running + Money + Career gets a coach that knows about the marathon, the deposit, and the job switch in the same conversation.

What does "life-OS" actually mean?

Every meaningful life decision lives in one of six domains: Body (running, pull-ups, sleep, nutrition), Wealth (money, first home, retirement), Career (next role, certifications, salary negotiation), People (relationships, parenting), Mind (mental health, reading, language), Play (holidays, hobbies). Three are shipping this year (Body, Wealth, Career), three follow later. The OS is the framework that lets every app speak the same shape (set a goal, get a plan, be reminded, adapt when life breaks) so the coach can reason across all of them at once.

How does the coach actually adapt my plan?

You tell it what changed. "I missed both tempo runs." "My bonus came in early." "I got an interview next week." The coach reads the change against your full context: which week of the plan you're in, what your goal date is, what other apps you have on the account, and what your situation looks like across all of them. Then it rewrites the remaining plan in seconds. You see what changed and why. You accept the new plan, or push back, and it tries again.

Is it really free to start?

Yes. You can start free with no card, set a goal, and get a real plan. Upgrade to the founding plan when you want the coach to keep adapting it as your life changes, or stay on a limited free tier so your plan and history are never locked away. There is no upfront charge and no auto-bill surprise.

Is my money and Strava data safe?

Yes. Your runs and your finances live in your own row in our database. Row Level Security means another user cannot read it, and we never sell or train on your data. We connect read-only and you control what is linked. UK GDPR + ICO registered. You can export everything from /settings, and you can delete everything from /settings. Is this just another habit tracker?

No. A tracker logs what you already did and leaves the thinking to you. LifeAhead builds a real strategy with a goal and a date, picks a named method, then writes the week-by-week plan to get you there. When life gets in the way, a missed long run, a tight month, a work trip, it rewrites the rest of the plan so the goal stays realistic. Tracking is where it starts, not the point. The point is the plan, and the plan adapting when your week does.

Do you train AI on my data?

No. Your data is used only to power your own coach. We do not use it to train any foundation model, fine-tune any model, or improve a model that other users will see. The coach reasons over your data at request time and the data stays in your row. Conversation logs are stored so the coach has continuity across sessions, and you can wipe those from /settings whenever you want.

What does it cost?

£5 per month is the founding rate for the first 50 paying users. After that, the standard rate is £7 per month or £70 per year. The £5 founding rate locks for 12 months from signup, even after the price rises. There's a free tier with 10 chats per week so you can evaluate every app end-to-end before paying anything. UK VAT is included where applicable. Stripe-managed, cancel any time.

Why £5/mo and not free forever?

Every conversation costs LifeAhead in LLM tokens, and the OS keeps your full history, plan, and goals so the coach can adapt across weeks and apps. The £5/mo founding rate covers unlimited chats and every coach in the OS for the first 50 paying users (the rate goes to £7/mo after that). A free tier (10 chats per week) lets you evaluate every app end-to-end before you pay anything. A free-forever consumer subscription cannot fund the LLM tokens this coach uses every week. We'd rather charge a fair price than degrade quality to fit a free tier.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from /settings. Your subscription ends at the end of the current period and your account drops to read-only. Your data stays put if you want to come back. No retention call, no "are you sure" loop, no exit survey held over your head. Cancel button is one click, no email required. UK consumer law mandates this anyway; we just don't pretend otherwise.

What integrations are live today?

Strava is live now. Connect once during onboarding and runs flow in automatically. For Money, you enter your numbers once during onboarding and the coach keeps the plan current from your updates and check-ins. Open Banking sync is built but parked while we finish testing it against real UK banks; it switches on once it clears that bar. Garmin, Apple Health, Fitbit, Land Registry, and LinkedIn integrations are scheduled across the next 12 months. Every integration is one-tap during the relevant app's onboarding. There is no "connect Strava" button on any daily surface, because webhooks do the work.

Career growth, Pull-ups, and First Home are the next three apps shipping over the coming 90 days. After that, the cadence is roughly one new app a month, driven by what paying users actually ask for. The 3-day fork recipe is documented in the wiki so any new app slots into the OS without re-architecting the platform. People, Mind, and Play domains stay future for now until there's demand. You will not see fake "coming soon" tiles for things that aren't being built.

Who built LifeAhead?

LifeAhead is built by Kevin, a solo founder in London. The product was started because every other app (Runna, YNAB, MoneyMoneyMoney, Notion templates) forced a context restart and none of them could see across the three domains that actually matter to most adults at once: training, money, and career. The coach replies from coach@lifeahead.app, and that inbox is read by Kevin directly. There is no support team. There is no help-desk script. It is a one-founder operation, deliberately, until the OS earns its way to bigger.
